Therapy Observations 2

Motivation

Therapy is so very often about motivation –  how to get yourself to do this or stop that; or get your partner to.  In recent months, I’ve seen a lot of people out of work or unable to work and so they’re having real problems in figuring out how to structure the day or even to get themselves out.

In my Musing on How to Get Yourself to do Hard Stuff, I suggest a number of strategies I’ve used before.  So often, particularly for women, the best strategy is someone else to do it with.  Which strategy do you think works best for you?

The one I needed for this writing was having a deadline.
